The Use of Filigree is Good for the Environment

Filigree Wideslabs are factory produced on polished steel molds, making the field formed soffits flat and smooth, which can be finished as-is with the aid of properly applied paint or other suitable materials. This leaves the construction site clean and free of clutter and concrete dust.

Unlike Filigree, conventional concrete slab forms use wood and plywood materials that become contaminated and damaged during construction. Eventually these materials need to be disposed. In addition, such forms leave numerous imperfections and plywood joint impressions, which are in most cases corrected in the field with the aid of grinding power-tools. This process generates unhealthy silica and concrete dust emissions. The use of Filigree eliminates this wasteful and environmentally unfriendly process entirely.
